Thursday, December 27th, 2007This week our fantastic government passed an energy bill. On the top, this sounds like a wonderful thing since anything that lessens our need for foreign oil is a good thing. For now, I just want to touch on one aspect of the bill, CFLs. They are wonderful devices, my house has been full of them for years. As much as I love them, they will not save the world and they aren’t adequate for all uses. For congress to decide that we can no longer have incandescent lighting over 40 watts is a joke.
