This sums up what this website is about, a common sense look at global warming. Even if man is partly to blame for global warming, the global alarmists are taking us in the wrong direction too quickly. Professor Bjorn Lomborg is thought to be one the most influential scientist in the world and he says its time to slow down and put the money where it can do the most good. It’s people like Professor Bjorn Lomborg that we should be listening to, and not political activist like Algore.

Along the coast, how many cities have stop giving out building permits for construction on the beach front property, none except the ones under laws set for reasons other than global warming. If the world does warm to the point some say, then why do we continue to let people build so close to the ocean? Maybe enough don’t believe in the drastic rise in sea levels like Algore is predicting.

There could be other reasons that revolve around money. Tell me, is someone suddenly buying up land where the future beaches will be? I don’t think so. When that starts happening, then I will take rising sea levels seriously. From all actions I currently see, no one is taking rising sea levels seriously. That may be because it’s not going to happen. If they started evacuating New York City now, they might have it done in fifty years.

It’s not going to happen in New York or any other city in the near future. You will not see anyone leave the coast until their house is washed away by surging tides. Then, at that point, they will want the government to reimburse them for their loss.

Lets listen to people like Professor Bjorn Lomborg and look at this thing with calm, but with an open eye and invest in workable technology instead of giving tax breaks to manufactures of hybrid and electric cars.
